What Kind of Fruit are You Producing? Galatians 5:22-23

It is often said that if you plant apple seeds, water the apple seeds, and fertilize the apple seeds EVERYDAY...you expect them to grow into an apple tree. Right! Such is the same with our spiritual growth. When we allow the Word of God to be planted into our spirit, there should be evidence of the Spirit growing in us. People should see something different about us when we are in their presence. Paul told the Galatians that when they walk in the Spirit, they would not fulfill the lust of the flesh (5:16). Because the flesh and the Spirit are constantly fighting against each other. What we fail to realize is that God has already given us power to overcome the flesh through the power of the Holy Spirit. We already have victory over our flesh. We have the power to RESIST temptation, but yet, our sinful nature "kicks in" and we lower our guards. Only to find ourselves feeling defeated and unworthy.
Woman of God...do you know that when you confessed Christ as your Lord and Savior, God forgave your past, present and future sins! So don't give up on yourself when you digress from your spiritual journey. Now, don't get it twisted, we will suffer consequences for the choices we make. IF you anything like me, I do NOT like getting whooped! I used to cry at the thought of a whooping. But as we recover from our fumbling and stumbling, let's learn from our mistakes. As we travel on this Christian Journey, allow the Spirit of God to rule and reign in our lives. It is only then that we will be able to become "good-fruit producing" Christians.
To God be the glory.

So good!! We also must be watered by the Right hand. It’s a choice… who are you allowing to water your seed? If it’s not truth, it’s not proper water. This will cause your fruit to spoil.
