What are You spreading...Gossip or the Gospel.

While standing in line at a very popular store, I observed the multitude of folks scavenging for bargains. Some folks would look at the price on an item, shake their head, and place it back on the shelf. But, while I was waiting in line, I heard a conversation between two folks. And it sounded like this..."Girrrl, did you hear about Sis. So Ann So! The cops came to her house at 3:00 a.m. this morning. They had to drag her man out of the house in hand-cuffs!" The 2nd person said, "Girrl...SHUT UP! Are you serious!" And they both began to laugh.

It's amazing how we are so quick to spread and participate in gossip, but we are reluctant to spreading and hearing the Gospel. If we participate in gossip, it will never add value to our life or anyone else life. But when you spread the Gospel, not only will it make our Father in Heaven proud of us, but it will provide a way for others to have an abundant life. Gossip will hinder our growth and tear down the life of others. The Gospel will glorify our Father in Heaven and lead others to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ so that they can have eternal life.
