This word right here is almost on the same level of "submission." We know about it. We know what it means. We know how to do it. But when it's time to APPLY it...we get amnesia. (LOL). When we look back over our life, we are reminded of all the stuff we had to put up with. And it's a LOT of stuff. Somethings we endured and don't want folks to know nothing about it. It's between us and God. But that one incident that almost took us out, was the very thing that God used to bring us this far. If you are reading this message today...you ahre MORE than a conqueror in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:37). Here is something else to think about...what about that "thing" you did that hurt someone? And right now today, you still have not apologized for causing them pain.

All of us have experienced either, being hurt by someone or have hurt someone. It doesn't matter if it was intentional or by accident. Either way...it still hurts. But healing comes to both parties if we would just FORGIVE. Start with forgiving yourself, and then forgive others.

Jesus said, "For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. BUT....if you do NOT forgive others their sin, your Father will not forgive your sins." (Matthew 6:14-15).

Lord God, forgive us for holding on to stuff that keeps us bound and chained. We release all of our hurt, pain, anger, bitterness and shame to You. Replace it with Your love, joy, peace, mercy and grace. It is in YOU that we trust, and not ourselves. Remind us that Your Son, Jesus, have already died on the cross for our past, present and future sins. And because of His sacrifice, we are free from condemnation. In Jesus Name...Amen.
