"Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So, if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." (John 8:35-36)
There are seasons when God doesn’t just bless us but He builds us. For me, the years 2024–2025 was my journey of refining my boundaries. It was my personal season where God gently — and sometimes firmly — revealed the places where my boundaries were too loose, too undefined, or too easily crossed due to MY desire to please people rather than trying to please God. Anytime we try to please people instead of pleasing Him, it causes emotional instability and spiritual corruption. Which leads to physical and spiritual sickness. I thank God for arresting my heart and showing me that I had crossed His boundaries. I could not love two masters: either I was going to love Him only or love people.
“Boundaries” are the God‑given lines of protection, identity, and alignment that guard the soul, preserve peace. They separate what is holy from what is harmful. Boundaries are spiritual markers that define where God is leading you, what He has freed you from, and what you will no longer allow to diminish your purpose.
When I finally surrendered to God’s voice, I learned that boundaries are not walls. Boundaries are wisdom. Boundaries are stewardship. Boundaries are the quiet “yes” to what aligns with God’s purpose and the courageous “no” to what drains, distracts, or diminishes.
In years 2024-2025, God taught me to guard my heart, honor my peace, protect my spiritual space, and recognize what is mine to carry and what is not. He showed me that boundaries are not about keeping people out but they’re about keeping my soul aligned with Him.
And now, by His grace, I’ve crossed over into 2026 — not just with new boundaries, but with redefined ones. Boundaries that are rooted in clarity, identity, and obedience. This year is not just about knowing them; it’s about living them.
So.... here is my encouragement to you if your desire is to stay focused on the boundaries God has revealed to you:
Confront insecurity without shame.
Choose peace without apology.
Honor God’s boundaries without guilt.
Walk into this new year with intention instead of survival.
Pay attention to the places where your spirit feels stretched, unsettled, or unprotected.
Ask God to show you where you need to draw a line, build a gate, or reclaim your peace.
Let Him redefine what you allow, what you tolerate, and what you give your energy to.
If God walked you through a season of discovery, He will walk you into a season of application. If He revealed it, He intends to strengthen it. If He refined you, He plans to use you. Let me also remind you that the "safest place to be is in the will of God."
Let your goal for 2026 be a year of alignment. A year of clarity. A year of honoring the boundaries God helped you discover.
For His glory...
